COMPANY HISTORY
TIROS MACHINE & TOOL CO. was established in 1968.
Our Founder, Bill Tuerk worked for RCA in New Jersey. He dreamed of starting his own business during the 1960’s.
Bill was inspired by the first Weather Satellite designed by RCA and named his new company TIROS. The Tiros Weather Satellite is now on display at Cape Canaveral, Florida.
TIROS MACHINE & TOOL CO. rented space in different locations after getting started. We operated in Philadelphia and Levittown during our early history.
In 1986, we finished construction on our building at the current location in Trevose, Pennsylvania.
TIROS MACHINE & TOOL CO. continued growing and serving more customers during the 90’s. So we needed to expand our facility in 2000.
Our Machine Shop increased up to 13,000 square feet with the new building addition.
TIROS TODAY
Jason Bauldree started working at TIROS MACHINE & TOOL CO. in 1998. Jason purchased the company in April 2022 and is now the Owner overseeing all operations.
We specialize in CNC Turning and CNC Milling. We are known as one of the top CNC job shops of the Tri-State area. Our many years of experience are utilized to provide you with the highest quality work with on-time delivery.

TIROS MACHINE & TOOL CO. provides services for many different industries including: Medical, Food, LED Lighting and Military. We work with a number of materials based on customer needs including: Aluminum, Steel, Titanium and Plastic.
We are a proud sponsor of multiple Little League teams and youth sports.
